    Strong saddle bike pannier rack?

I am going to buy a pannier rack for my XC mountain bike but I want to get one which clips onto my saddle so its more convenient and does not get in the war of the bike.

Looking around I found many saddle racks for cheap but they all say max load is 10KG

    I want a 20KG saddle rack which costs about 20GDP or $30

Does anyone know of of have one which meets those standards?

    Many thanks in advance!

If you mean a seat post mounted rack like these, then I don't think that you'll find what you want.

I'd say 20kg would be too much weight for a rack of that type to handle.

I did mean that seat post rack. I did see a 20KG one but it was a bit more expensive...

I guess I will have to pay for a more expensive one

The stickers in the picture clearly state the maximum load is 10kgs.

That's a pipe dream, those racks are intended for light loads. If you want to carry more, put something on the bike that mounts to the frame. I, for one, would not sacrifice my seatpost by over-loading that rack.

So you think the seatpost would snap before the actual rack?

THULE makes a rack that fits many different types of frames, including FS frames. It attaches to the frame instead of the seat post, and can attach to the fork legs as well. Cost is more than you are looking to spend, but it has a capacity of 25kg.

    I saw them here:
