First ride last Saturday! It replaced my '14 Slash 27.5, the '18 is better in every way, up, down, sideways...

Kind of unexpectedly ended up with a new Tallboy CC 27.5+. Came in just after Christmas. Should get it out tomorrow for the first time.

My wife's Christmas present to me was a Trek Stache 29+. I begged her for it early so I rode it a couple times in Dec and once in the snow on a groomed trail. But essentially it's still brand new to me and won't see regular action until probably March, or whenever it warms up some. It's my first true mountain bike and seeing it in the garage this winter is killing me.

On order - 2017 Cannondale Bad Habit 1 Aluminum with Lefty fork (great clearance price)
    Mods - Eagle GX 1x12
    Maxxis Rekon+ tubless
    Vp pedals
    Grips
All said and done including tax, almost $500 less than retail for just the bike.

Will be a great stable mate for my Cujo 2. Now the waiting...

    Great 2018 riding for all!

Picked up a 2018 Giant Anthem 2, 27.5 in September. My last Bike was a 2001 Giant NRS Air. Man, has the technology changed...and for the better. I love the Anthem.

I'm still searching for my 27.5 carbon FS trailey. 1x11or12. Shorter the fork the better - 130mm or less (120mm better). Looking for a nimble ride, 26lb build (ish).

Test rode a Whyte that was in this zone, but felt a little cramped in the cockpit. If I find "the one" I'll buy it this year (ideally before spring).

This year will be no different from the last five... I will get a new bike. Working part time at my local shop makes that possible, as well as helping me stay connected to a million cool cycling-related opportunities in my area. Long live the LBS!

Hi Guys, new to the forum. Years ago, back in my college days in 1995, I rode a GT LTS-1... as a matter of fact, I still have her sitting in my garage. Years had gone by and found other hobbies to dump my money into. Paintball, guns, motorcycles, sports cars.. Fast forward to 2016, i was looking at my LTS-1 and wanted to get back into MTB. Dug her out and realized my old bike wasn't up to par anymore. Then I when I was out at REI I took home a Ghost Kato FS. Had fun with her for a while, but in the end, she wasnt for me. Returned her to REI, because they have an awesome return policy, and have been looking for something else. Got a hold of an old school friend that owns a bike shop and sold me on a Giant Reign XS. Supposed to be picking her up in 2 days. CANT WAIT!!!

Spent last season test riding everything I could get my butt on. Decided on a Yeti. By end of next month will get the SB4.5c Turq Eagle build. Can't wait for the weather to change.
