    QR Seatpost Clamp

I'm shopping around for a QR clamp. Other than the bling factor, is there anything differentiating these? Is there a good reason to spend $30 or so on a Hope or Loaded Precision part instead of generic?

    Thanks.

I have always loved the Salsa seat clamps, and wheel skewers for that matter. Every piece that I have bought has been of a high quality, and always works perfectly.

I like the Salsa too. Check with your LBS for the price and make sure to measure the frame so you order the correct size collar. There are a few sizes to choose from.

Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

Thanks. Is it odd that Salsa doesn't have a 31.8 diameter clamp? They have 32. Seems like 31.8 is a common size.

Yeah I like Salsa also, I have had the same collar and skewers for 10 years no problems. But had I thought of it at the time I would have chosen Hope to match my brakes. Next build. Never heard any negative feedback on either brand.

For all intents they're the same size.

Yep, should work but if not, because it is a bit bigger, 0.2mm actually, lol, take out the bolt and file a bit where the 2 sides meet. Been there, done that.

I am using that same exact red collar. I had one on a previous bike, and the matching skewers, and it looked really nice. Well worth the cash that they cost.
