MUD race tomorrow - Conti Explorer or Mich Wildgrippers?

Both 2.1 UST versions. Mich set has front specific, but I'm not convinced of it's mud prowess. Any thoughts?

I have the Vertical Pro tires on my bike which has a very similar tread (small, closely spaced knobs) and it loads up mud very fast. They worked poorly in mud.

If I recall correctly, at least the Wildgripper has taller knobs, which might make it marginally better. Just a guess.

Cheers Walt. The Wg knobs are definitely taller, but the Conti is more open and the casing width is narrower which is sometimes a blessing in mud, at least on the back? Maybe I'll throw the Wg front on and run the rear Conti...

    Conti Survival

The Survival destroys both of those you suggested in the mud.
