When I used to ride a 36 lb. XL Diamondback Release I called it the Supertanker. I just recently picked up a 17 lb. road bike after years riding only MTBs. No real nickname yet, but for now it's still unfamiliar enough that I'm calling it the speedy little deathtrap.

One of them my daughter calls "Wrong Way" because if there is a turn on the trail he will undoubtedly make the wrong one. We have another one is a noob and once I was following him and he crashed into at least three or four trees. I gave him the nickname "Tree Hugger" and it has stuck.

I've lost count of the bikes that I've owned and none ever had a name until this one. It's so nimble and lively I named it the Green Macheen.

I've been calling my new one the Green Machine.

But it's not what this guy was referring to:

Is it legal to ride a green machine on the bike lane?

    Cankle Mangler

    Her Satan's Majesty

    Lexicon Spider

    Buddies nicknames-

    Joenga-
Joe passes out at the campfire so we take turns stacking ever crazier shit on him until the pile toples over. I should post some pics, they're hilarious. Dude is the proverbial chick magnet, bastard.

    Scrot-
Not sure, he got that in College. I call him poo bear because his skin resembles Winnie The Poo. He gets really stoned and makes weird pained faces as he stares off into space. Great guy.

    Nathong-
Not exactly sure when that started. His wife is model gorgeous, smart, and cool as hell. Another great guy.

    Sandy Dave-
I met Dave living out of his RV parked at the Sandy Ridge trailhead. He basically lived there for 2 years before moving into town.

    Red-
My best friend is a ginger. He hates being called Red. He's the guy that always has awesome random hook ups and everything always works out for him.

    Rand McNally-
If you ask him where he's riding this wknd you will get 4 pages of txt's of possibilities and trail conditions. He's actually a mtbr member and literally rides at a pro (and beyond) level. He's not part of the band of idiots I assembled per say, but we're always crossing paths.
