more dirt and grime road bike or mtb

anybody else have a filthy road bike while their clean mtb sits and waits for the trails to dry out. Gotta love mud season.

I do, sort of. I would have a dirty road bike but I thought it would be a good idea to spend five minutes getting all the salt off of it after my ride yesterday.

Yes my cyclocross bike is trashed from salt, grime & mud. It really fills the void when the trails are wet & winter takes its hold.

Living in western pa, if you dont own a road bike, you really are not gonna get the full riding potential out of the area. I am usually more of a roadie/cyclocross rider when the trails are filthy. Once the trails dry up, I am very happy to get the hell off the public roadways. Right now, my mtb is sitting all cleaned up in the basement and hasnt been ridden since probably early Feb. My road bike and cyclocross bike got baths yesterday cause they have been used a lot.
