Isopropyl alcohol and carbon frame
Dumb question....is there a certain % bottle I need to get of Isopropyl alcohol to clean the frame before installing Invisiframe?
75%
90%
etc....
-
I always go for 90%. It'll absorb water from the air after opening and proceed to lower percentage anyway.
-
It's not THAT important. Though the 90% stuff will evaporate marginally faster (while being marginally more expensive).
-
I order the 99% off amazon. It's cheap if you get the case and lasts me just over a year. I have small 3oz mist bottles and a 14 oz spray bottle.
Making shit harder than it needs to be isn't awesome, it's just...harder.

Yeah, the mist bottles are the shizznit. Easier to use fo sho. Or just pour some alcohol in a spray bottle.

Since the OP's question was answered, you might want to do some reading up/asking around on this from reliable sources. Most don't recommend using HO for that.

Hydrogen peroxide kills cells in open wounds prolonging healing.
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Since the OP question was answered as you indicated, my response was in relation to the shizznit of the spray bottle itself.
Sorry if that was not obvious enough for you.
Apologies for diverting the thread.

Better than nothing for sure, and am sure oxygen is an effective disinfectant.
I once treated a pretty bad rope burn with it as it's all we had.

Only to learn after the fact what a HUGE mistake that was. I now carry a tripple ointment with me when I'm in the backcountry doing stupid shit. Hard lesson learned.

That finger looks like it hurt!!

First day of a 10 vacation and still had 3 hours of 10/11 climbing to get out with those hands. That part sucked pretty hard especially considering we both almost baught the farm.. Other than that I wrapped them and it didn't slow me down for the remaining 10 days. That white spot is tendon...pretty remarkable how the body can heal it'self.
