    Smile Handlebar corrosion?

I've got a 2 month old handlebar I'm going to replace. I'm going to try to sell it before considering using it on the spare bike.

I've noticed some bubbling in a few areas of the bar. I'm using SLX hydraulic brakes, never fiddled with the oil before. I also have rockshox reverb remote mounted on the left side of the bar. Picture taken of bottom right of handlebar.

Is that chrome? If it is, the chrome is peeling. Ever seen chrome bumpers on trucks start peeling? Same thing.

Damn. It's only 2 months old! Hmm. Maybe I'll just slap it on the spare bike instead. Never liked chrome anyway. (stupid purchase decision)
