I have noticed a great slow down in just the last two days; otherwise it's been fine.

Is this just recent for you?

I tried for 5 minutes to post in here. It's that slow. Anyone else constantly getting this message followed by 10-15 of down time? I've had it numerous times today.

Slow like dial up for the past few days at least. I'm also getting system failure warnings a few times daily. Wonderful...

I noticed a lot of double posts. Member hitting the send button twice

There is also a delay with posts showing up in the forums... hopefully the problems can be solved

It's working normal slow this morning rather than stupid slow like it has been. Maybe less traffic, maybe someone got off their ass and fixed something? Maybe it's my father's day present. Who knows. I'll just enjoy some mtbr time before I head out for my ride in a bit.

Of course everytime I post I get a database error. Guess there's a trade off. Speed for errors. I don't post a lot so I'll take the speed I suppose.

I had issues yesterday as well.

Pinkbike and NSMB were working just fine though.

Usually, when someone would post a reply, the thread would go to the top of the forum. . two of us have posted here within the past hour, yet the thread still says Da Dook was last post 12 hours ago

Very slow here for at least the last week. Especially when hitting the back button. Sometimes get an error message that the site is undergoing routine maintenance, try back again later.

Googling "MTBR slow" shows the complaints started almost 10 years ago.
I guess this really is normal for this place ... I'll never again expect an improvement.

Wow, when I posted this (attempted to) yesterday, it gave me a database error and would not display. Now it shows up!

Today I will say has been much better. Guess whoever was at the helm fell asleep at the wheel over the weekend. As long as it stays normal slow, things are good. It's the stupid slow that really reeks havoc.

This site is always slow for me, no matter what computer I use: work, home, blackberry etc. but the last few days have been painful.

Drives me up the wall. I visit this site more than Pinkbike, which used to be my go-to site but I was getting tired of the kids-i-can-huck-this-p.o.d-sucks kinda conversation.
If i keep getting errors and/or slow response time, this one might have to go to the backburner too.

this forum is so slow to load for me, no other webpage is...

I've stopped coming to the forum through a computer:

    1. Way too slow w all the plugins and tracking software.

    2. Work surfing stopped because one of the plugins that tried to run I the background was (is?) a porn app that my corporate firewall blocked. Nice.

Now I only use a browser from home when I have plenty of time. Otherwise it's tapatalk.

My local (much smaller) forum runs the same software and it functions fast and smooth. The difference is all the advertising and revenue generating crap that runs in the background, I think.
