First "real" bike for growing girl

I've had a lot of fun introducing my daughter to mtb riding. She has progressed well and is outgrowing her 24" wheel trek 200. I figure she is due for a 27.5 it 29 X's frame, but don't want to spend a ton until get better stabilizes. She's 13. I've been watching eBay and onecraigs for bikes. Looking to keep it around $500. Any other leads to search? Bike exchange? But her a Fuji in sale at performance?

    Thanks,

My little lady is younger, but there was only one obvious choice. Airborne Miss Behavin =) I have had good luck being patient while also not hesitating to buy something a year or so in advance if the price is right.

First "real" bike for growing girl

500 bucks gonna be tough brand new for something decent.

There isnít a ton of decent Hardtail 27.5Ē bikes out there for under a 1000 but heres my list at a 1000 cuz you get what you pay for. Like others said pinkbike and CL are great resources.

    Norco Charger
    Felt Dispatch
    Cannondale Trail
    Kona Cindercone

Wtf do all these bikes run 2x and 3x drive trains. Kills me. NX is cheap.

Yeah I made a list for the new NICA team riders for XC 27.5/650B bikes with 1x drive trains and they are tough to come by under 1000. Thats where that list came from that i posted. Plenty of bikes under 1000 but all 2x and 3x and no kid needs a front mech let alone most adults.

Get your kid racing in NICA and then that 1000 bike turns into more like 800 with discounts for racers.
