    The current MTBR. What happened?

No mention of the death of mountain biking innovator and pioneer Dan Hanebrink.

No mention of the civil suit against SAR's delay to search for a lost MTBr.

Both headlines and/or discussions on non mountain bike sites. Maybe I've missed something.

Do the people running this site even ride anymore? Where's the passion?

They have been pretty busy making sure everyone posts in the correct forum.

That's pretty important too you know.
How can anyone who's been riding as long as I have, be so slow???

Maybe they're out riding. I don't typically update my facebook status while out on a ride. I don't have a facebook to update though either.

Creating topics and posts is the purview of the forum participants, not the forum hosts. The hosts provide the site and framework. The members create the content.

I thought the OP was referring to the main page of news, not so much the forum content

There should be a lengthy thread on MTBR about the mountain biker's death.

Which is true because ever since the name change that forum died.

MTBR has had people creating news content for quite some time. No idea if they're paid or not, but I imagine the ownership change is partly responsible for the drop in real bike news they cover. Look at the content on the news page. Most of what's there is just fluff.

I think that the people who run this site might be a bunch of booze hounds and need to join the 30 day alcohol free challenge.

I started a thread about Dan on the So Cal forum the day his ex wife called to let me know. I didn't know where else to put it.

I found out about the civil suit against SAR from a friend who found a discussion on AR15.com
