    Carbon Fiber and Road Salt?

I was just wondering if road salt can have any effect on carbon fiber. Took my new Superfly out today and there is still a lot of salt on the roads, just wondering if it will do anything to my frame?

I had same question regarding my carbon road bike and asked my LBS, their response was,"Your steel and alloy components are a problem, however Carbon Fiber is Chemically neutral so rd salt won't affect it...." They're one of the top 10 largest speshy dealers in the country so I trust they know what they're talking about.

Just wipe down the bike when your done riding with a damp rag. Its no worse than riding during the dead heat of summer and your sweating all over the bike.

Just keep the salt off it.
