    1908 Sears Catalog

I have obtained a replica 1908 Sears Catalog. It has several pages of bicycles and parts for sale. While Sears is a waning company it is still larger than 47 countries so I'm not going to copy he pages and make them available. Sears claims the Elgin bicycle was selling for $125 before Sears bought the company and introduced mass production bringing the price down to $17. A coaster brake was a $3 option. Sears also introduced internal reinforcements to their frames which they claim doubled the strength. Standard tubes were 1 inch 20 gauge about .9mm cold drawn steel. All the tires were what we would call sew ups. They were available in 28 26 and 24 by1 1/2 and 28 by 1 5/8. It looks like the spokes were double butted. If you want to know something ask a precise question and I will try to answer it.

Yeah, pretty sure you could scan or take pics of pages and post them and be totally fine.

Plus, maybe start a thread in the vintage forum for our elders to chime in.
