    Steel Frame Repair

    Hi All,

Apologies if Iím posting in wrong spot. I noticed a crack in the non-drive chainstay of my 2014 Niner Sir9. Itís in the crimped area towards the bottom bracket, and is runs about 11mm on the inside, underneath the stay, and up about 9mm in the outside of the frame. Iíve removed some of the paint, and confirmed that the metal is cracked as well.

im trying to determine if this is possible to fix and if itís worthwhile. Iím not overly heavy (160 lb), and ride on the east coast (roots, rocks, no jumps or drops bigger than 2í). Iíve reached out to a couple local builders, but was hoping to get some input here. Thank you for your time.
