How to solder the inner pipe to lay the cable?

    Hello!
Run a solid pipe or solder a pair of tubes from both ends? What metal to take soldering tubes from? If solid, then what is the internal thickness given that the brake cable is 5mm.
    Thank.

One length of tubing is the preferred method. .250 tubing, steel or stainless steel.

Brake line tubing from the auto parts store might be the easiest to source.
