    bearing renoval 101

I hate those mtb bearings, always super hard to remove with all those curvy surfaces. How am I supposed to remove that bearing ? A press/extractor won't work...is a blind hole puller the only option here ?

canned air duster, and freeze it, helps somewhat....with a knock from a matching socket

harbor freight is your blind puller resource tho, and it the better method

Dip the hole thing in some very hot water, then like 127 says, canned air duster just on the bearing, try to get a temperature differential between frame and bearing. It should tap out super easy then. Frame looks aluminium?? If so it might come out just via heating. As the aluminium will expand more than the steel of the bearing. Ideally a socket (or something else round) and spread the load across the entire inner race. Not ideal, but you can only piss with the cock you got.
