Bill and Kathi Merchant, expert riders, teachers and guides are presenting this one-day class on winter backcountry biking. They have teamed up with VMBaH and the Willow Trails Committee to put on this class. Billy Koitzsch of Arctic Cycles will have his fleet of fat bikes available to use for the day.

The class will start at 9am at the Willow Community Center, located at Milepost 69.8 Parks Highway, with an introduction on how to dress, how to pack your bike and safety tips. Then Bill and Kathi will lead a bike ride on the wonderful winter trails around Willow, where everyone will have hands on experience riding a fat bike on snow.

The cost is $55 and includes the use of an Arctic Cycles fat tire bike for the day. If students have their own fat bike the cost will be $15. Lunch is included at no extra cost.
