Will 12mm axle fit on Surly horizontal dropouts?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm building up a moonlander, but this will be my first build dealing with horizontal dropouts. Does anyone know if a Hope Pro2 rear hub with the 12mm conversion kit will fit the 12mm axle on the Surly dropouts?

I was looking at something like this Hadley 12mm thru-axle.

My pug is 10mm so unless the mooniie is diff the answer is negative.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if it's a tight fit 10mm, or if there is 2mm of room to fit a 12mm for a little stronger rear. I suppose on the big balloon tires it doesn't matter anyway, not like you will notice, right?

my digi caliper reads 9.95mm, hence tight fit.
