Where are the new BD Snipers?

Anyone gotten a BD Sniper lately? They say shipments started on Jan 14 and the orange ones are sold out, but has anyone actually seen a new one yet? I am curious about the swingarm changes/reinforcements to the newest ones, not the mods to the original release.

I thought this thread was going to be about people who take pot-shots about BD's business practices. They actually named a full suspension fatbike "Sniper"? Jesus...

Most people don't follow the model names of terrible bike brands.

Doesn't make it any less stupid. "Blunderbuss" would be a good gun related name for a full squish fatbike, hell anything but Sniper. But we all know creativity and originality aren't among BD's strong suits.

"Ada's goof" is right in the crosshairs of that "new" sniper

BTW, there are two used Bucksaw frames on Pinkbike, just in case you want to move your parts from a poor quality frame to a high quality frame

Wait, is this thread about the Sniper or about waiting for the sniper?

I'm thinking it's more like waiting for Godot.

Actually it was more looking for Godot..... Like: where is the Sniper? Which when you think about it, is a pretty good question in some places and times.........

I still chuckle when people crap on BD products, especially ones who don't have one......they are what they are. Mine has been flawless and I enjoy the heck out of it and enjoy the money I saved compared to the options on the market for $2000 last year from Specialized etc.

It isn't like I don't know/appreciate good products, the 7 other bikes in our house are considered "high quality" bikes and all 8 bikes work when we hop on them and I don't expect the Lurch to let me down. In fact most people trail side that see it are surprised by how decent the frame looks. If internet folks want to hurl hate at a BD product to make themselves feel better about spending $2100 on a rigid Fat Boy etc. with some questionable parts they can knock themselves out. I'll be on the trail.

Yeah, because bike names from the Addams Family are so much better, like Wednesday and Pugsley. I'll trade my Pugsley for a Pubert when they come out.

But on the other side, my Night Train Bullet Ti is a name that is just too damned long. Maybe I'll rename it Pubert and save everyone a step, then it'll get some snobbish love at the same time.

Is there a new full sus version out there somewhere? I can't find it, how about a link?

    Edit, NM, I found it:
Full Suspension FatBikes Save Up to 60% Off Rockshox Bluto Fatbikes

That link isn't visible on their page. It looks like this bike has cheap wheels, tires and finishing kit, not surprising at this price.

Yeah, Pugsley was a great name. Since, ya know, Pugsley was a fat kid.

Sniper, on the other hand is just stupid and generic as hell. Not to mention it doesn't make sense. Like if Trek decided to name their fatbike "Spade" instead of "Farley".

I've never really invested much thought or emotional capital in the name of the model bike I was riding........seems like some folks do......
