    Tubeless Bud Patch Question

So yesterday I got a slash in my tread that stans was eventually able to plug.

Once I got home and saw how big it was though, I decided to patch it with an automotive tire patch.

It worked fine and seems solid but I have one concern: when I scuffed the casing for the patch, after just a few scuffs I was already to chords and some of them frayed. I stopped ad soon as I saw this but it was a bit hairy when I applied cement.

    Think this tire is okay?

    Thanks.

I did the same thing on a Conti tubeless tire once. I just put some cement over the threads and let it fully setup before remounting and adding sealant. Never had an issue with the tire after that.
