    Time for Fatty 4.0 I guess

    I have been doing this fatbike thing for a while, but in So Cal, beach/sand riding is the main reason I do it. Check out the albums below, including the dates. The green fatbike and 3.0 are Wildfire models with custom paint (both the vintage that had the countersunk 83mm bb shell and 100mm front hub):

    I told myself that 3.0 would be the last fatbike I would build. I was wrong. I have been longing for bigger tires and now they are available. Since I built 3.0 the fatbike market has really come to life with a lot more component choices. My beloved 3.0 will not make the cut, it can barely fit Marge/Endos. I can post the parts collection/build process here if there is any interest. I did it for the other bikes, before there was a fatbike forum here on mtbr, it was fun.

    Maybe you should try version 4.7.100
