    SRAM GX fat cranks

Looking at a used sram GX fat crank. It has 100mm BB. I have a 197 rear 907 Tundra. listing says it fits 197 rear 907's.

It has the direct mount chainring. It comes with the following:

    - New 30t narrow wide sram chainring on spider (for 177mm rear end bikes)
    - Used 28t narrow wide wolf tooth flat ring mounted (for 197mm rear end bikes)
    - Used 26t narrow wide wolf tooth flat ring (for 197mm rear end bikes)

Can the spider be flipped like some chainrings to give clearance for a 197 rear? Just wondering if it would be possible to flip the spider and use the 30t as well as a 32t oval 104bcd ring I currently have.

You've been looking at our local Craigslist... I saw that ad too.

I'm not sure if you can flip the spider. I think there is a machined out area for the spider to fit on the drive side crank arm. I'm not sure it would fit well when reversed, but I honestly don't know.
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

Here's a pic of the 30T ring on the GX DM spider, can't be flipped so I think you'd have to get a DM ring if you wanted to go that route.
