Salsa Beargrease - how to match a specific color?

Hey folks - obviously the most important part of a bike is ensuring all of your accessories match, and I just picked up my new Beargrease (color below) and am trying to precisely match the color, some sort of red/orange mix. Anyone have a way to actually figure out what color they use on the frame to find matches? Thanks!

You can get a spectrum analyzer. 😀

And then there is this: Physics Buzz: Turn Your Phone Into a Spectrometer — For Free!

My first step would be to call Salsa and find out if they used standard colors that an auto paint supply store could order a factory pack. If not, could/would they give you the formula so that a paint store could mix some up. If no formula, then call an automotive paint supply store or auto body shop. See if they have a spectrum analyzer, or go old school and match it to a color chip.

What are you trying to "match"?

You simply won't find any ano colors to match that. Not gonna happen. You might find some that will coordinate with it.

The correct answer will always be "black"

Haha yah for sure, orange pedals in plastic will be difference from anodized orange. Orange grips will be all different oranges.

And.... they will all labeled just “orange”

Need to get orange stuff and deal with it not matching or black.

    This.

Trying to match colored components always looks like crap IMO. And if you’re a tinkerer and have multiple bikes, black will always work.
