    six years already!

And I still don't have a dedicated fat bike. That is just sad.

    Thanks Pat

    I remember the thread well

It was one of the main reasons that I ended up with a Pug

Very cool! Reminds me of when I saw Dave Gray's proto-Pugs at Frostbike with those skinwall tires on it. Awesome.

Wish they still had skinwall Endos! I like that look, although others may hate it.

Hey Pat, that link has been saved in My Favorites since the story went up, I still read through it.

    Hope you're well.

Truly a wealth of useless information.

Hey Pat! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!! I remember loving the look of the those modded Albatross bars and wishing someone would make them. And now the Surly Open bar is pretty close I bet.

    Open Bar

Yes, the Surly Open Bar w/ rise is very close to my Albatross bars. I still use my modified bars since they're as good as any, but I have an Open Bar on my CrossCheck and like it just as well, and it's way easier than getting out the torch!

A little too "cruiser-ish" for my tastes, but differences in taste are what make us unique.
