    Rabbit Hole 26" on Pugsley

Tried to search for this, but all that comes up is Krampug set ups on 29" rims.

On my Pugsley, I've got ML for winter rides and RH 29 for summer. I also want to add another 26 fat for summer riding (for more chunky trails). I thought about going with another set of ML. But I am thinking of giving Rabbit Hole's in 26" a try. What I don't know is, how well the offset of a smaller rim will work out. Do you think this is worth a try to save ~200g?

I will set this up with my favorite summer fat tire, Jumbo Jim's. Yes, I have run 3.8" tires on 50mm rims in the past. Not AS ideal as 65mm rims, but not bad, either.

    Thanks for any input.

Just looking at the e.r.d. and the offset, I think it probably would work out ok. Might be a little low on tension on one side (drive) when built up properly, but should be fine. Unless maybe you are a bigger rider, or mega aggressive? I'd say give it a shot, it would probably give a nice round tire profile which would be pretty fun and maybe work out well for your chunky trails.

As an alternative, I have several sets of Neon trials rims laced offset for a Pugsley. They are light and stiff, but tubeless is not particularly easy.
