"The Pursuit of Fattiness" - The Journey to Fat Pursuit

For Global Fat Bike Day, we released a short film that I shot earlier this year. "The Pursuit of Fattiness" profiles one man's fat bike journey while training for Jay Petervary's "Fat Pursuit," a 200k/200m winter bicycle race in the Greater Yellowstone region. Follow along with Jim Vreeland's journey, from the train tracks of New Jersey, to Idaho's cold, snowy backcountry, and maybe all the way to the finish line.

Shooting this was an amazing experience, so I'm just trying to get as many people to check it out as possible. If you know anybody that might be interested, please pass it along! And thanks for watching!

Thanks Shark! I think that might be my favorite part of this story. As I'm sure you're aware, New Jersey is pretty far from Idaho. To still persist in wanting to finish, despite the fact that you've already traveled great distances, and failed, is a testament to the spirit of biking that we all feel, I think. Never give up!
