    Now we're talking!

What the hell is that? I mean, I GET it, but now you're combining two passions, cause I love old school, here's my 1896 Pierce. Bottom bracket concentric pivot point, full suspension 29er with shaft drive.

Not nearly as cold weather capable as yours, but old and cool.

    What museum is that?

I like the reflective tape as a rim strip idea. Any idea what particular tape was used?

Sure neither one is a fat bike, but figured I'd play along.

If bighit was not slacking perhaps we could see a few more retro rides.

Okay, so you have opened up a whole new kettle of fish here. I get that some of these ,you posted are funky modern retro fab jobs (and very friggin' cool too, BTW) but this one looks to be legitimately old. Where are you, and what's the gig? No one has pics of this much cool bike play, without a back story....

To all others? Awesome, thanks for playing, see y'all next Friday!

Well the resin cured overnight so I guess these can be late photo Friday edition of the top caps fabricated this week. Bottom left is a deep rich walnut (already spoken for) Upper left is a rose wood and might be sold as well. Middle is a zebra wood which came out real nice. Upper right is a fine grained lacewood and finally the bottom right is a slice of walnut that I'm in the process of polishing up a bit more.

Last singletrack of the year. I had to push some even on flat ground, but could ride some uphills too depending on conditions.

It's almost nearly part way to Friday, so what the hell. We had a Ti 907, an Alu 907, a Pugsley, and a Ti Fatback in the posse.

Anchorage during an extended "flurry." Despite a goodly amount of fresh snow, the riding was still excellent:

    Over the shoulder:

You'll never guess how this ends:

    I'll give you a hint:

    Give up yet?

Good stuff, Philip. I can see now I need to make my camera more accessible so I can use it on the fly. That series of akdeluxe biffing is great!

Let's hope it stops snowing soon so we can get in some more miles. I've got a surprise up my sleeve.

Awesome shots, your snow makes me jealous, I'm just stoked we have a few inches of lake effect....

Far be it from me to be a thread nazi, but if you wait, them we get good stuff each week that's fresh, instead of great stuff, 30 entries in past stuff you've seen for days....
