Does this mean your rides are no longer at 5:30am?

No rumors, but here is what I'd *like* to see.....

    Fat Ibis Mojo
    Fat Santa Cruz 5010
    Fat Giant Trance
    Fat Trek Fuel EX
FS 9Zero7 has pics etc floating around, no word on when it'll be available or ride reports?

Word on the street is that the project is being put on the back burner.

They are coming out with a new one. It's called The Fat Stinky Tranny. Apparently, it's so cool looking, even women are getting wood!

I find it odd that FS fatties hsve not caught on like their skinny tired brethren. I love riding a Mutz, the suspension really smoothes the ride, improves handling, and even helps with traction.

The benefits of full suspension on a fat bike are no different than the benefitd of full.suspension on a skinny tired bike.

I'd only get a hard tail fatty for XC fat riding or if I was going to be doing a bunch of hike a bike with carries; for this I'd want a super light bike.

I suppose FS fat is just a little to boutique at present.

Combine a slightly softer medium (snow/sand), a bit more passive tire cushiness, and the general phobia about extra weight, and there are just fewer people who want an FS fatbike. Suspension parts and shocks can have trouble at low temps, too, though that's solvable for folks who are serious about it.

Me, I love 'em. But I ride postholed steep singletrack, which is I think atypical. For a lot of the groomed/maintained riding, and the really deep powder snow off-in-the-woods wandering, I am not sure I'd want any suspension.

OP, there are already some good options out there. Why haven't you already got a Bucksaw/Mutz/Lenz/something else? What in particular are you looking for?

It seems FS fatbikes jumped too far up the evolutionary ladder, with most manufacturers just now releasing half fat 27.5+ FS bikes, so you can either:

    1) wait a few generations for them to realize fatter is better
    2) buy a current offering, ride it, and be happy
