    Nate in stock qbp?

Sorry stupid thread but I am laying awake tonight thinking that maybe a Nate would be a better option then a BFL on the rear for WI winters. Before I get all worked up do any of you QBP bike shop people know if the Nates 120tpi are in stock at QBP. (just don't want to think about it all night then get let down in the morning when I call my lbs)

    Thanks.....Bob

120 Nate, no. 27 Nate, yes. BFL, yes.

If it were me, I'd go either BFL or 45N HD for a rear tire. I just think the Nate may be too agressive for dry snow especailly. Wetter snow, it'd probably be pretty ok. IMO, the Nate is a mud/wet sand maximum traction needed tire.
    Just a regular guy.

This may be your last shot for the time being. However don't be suprised if you "buy it now" and they end up refunding you because they don't actually have them in stock.

Check the shipping and handling additional cost. $193.00 to where I live. It would have to be a very good tire to justify that. Plus the LBS's have them. At least the 27's.

Sorry, I overlooked the 70 dollar shipping charge because those were the only 120tpi Nates on ebay. This scenario is why I bought 4 folding nates, bdundee see if they have a projected date they will be back in stock.

The Nate, for me, is a far superior tire for snow use. The Larry and Endo just does not have the paddle digging power...
I don't miss the other tires spinning and spinning and spinning...
I am immune to your disdain.

just like a powder snow mobile, their tracks have huge claws to get the paddle effect.
