    My Fatty's been stolen..

So that's a pretty ****ty way to end my weekend!

Was a lovely day so decided to do the grocery run on the Fatty, come out to find someone has chopped through the chain and taken my bike..

Pretty devo'd about it really, never thought something like this would happen around where I live.. Turns out I was wrong!

With a wedding to organise, a replacement Fatty isn't in the budget for awhile, but it's been a blast while I had it! Back to four wheels now it seems!

report is stolen to the police... the store might have a video security camera that covered where you parked your bike.

Yeah I've done all that, spoken to the management for the store, they're gonna take a look for me, but they don't think their cameras cover the bike racks
Po-Po are going to "Look out" for it, but I have a sneaking suspicion that's not gonna go far..
Hopefully it'll turn up, there's not many Fattys around here (I've never seen another one) so mine is pretty obvious..
Buuut, I'm not holding my breath either

    That sucks!

My woman just got her fatty stolen at Burning Man last week.

They even took the lock so she can't send in the pieces for the $20 replacement.

If there is any bright side, the motherfnckers a least waited until the last day of the burn to rip it.

    Sorry for the loss!
Where do you live? Someone might see your bike if you let folks know what kind of bike and where it was lost. If they ripped you off to sell it for drug money it might turn up either on Craigslist or in a hockshop.

Now you know why I walk my bike through with the hand basket hanging on the handlebar. My bike goes with me or the Jeep gets fired up and goes...

Sux to lose your best friend, so to speak. Best wishes that you might get your bike back.

Thankfully here so far I've been able to bring my bikes inside. Not walk through but I can bring them in the store. Even Home Depot yesterday let me do it. Usually 4 wheels when I need to run there but I was feeling ambitious.

Got lucky that the service desk clerk knows the family of the lbs owner I bought my bike from so she well understood and kept a close eye on it.

My bikes never get locked up outside a store I plan on being in for a while. My wife doesn't even get my paranoia when bike is in the back of the car. I lock it with cable and ulock to the rack then back up as close as possible to the building or a pole.

She stopped complaining when she started seeing tons of "bikes stolen" posts on Facebook pages. She knows except for priority bills and kids needs, I will replace a bike before anything else gets done. So now she's all for making sure they can't be stolen.

Would be nice; along with a detailed description, address location, etc.

Just might be missing a off chance that someone on here could supply a lead if they knew.

The lack thereof, leaves the reader with a feeling of indifference.
