Max tire size in 2015 Trek Farley?

I am shopping for my first fat bike, primarily as a snow bike to extend my riding season here in New England. Since I have heard that the newest larger tires offer better snow flotation, I am curious about the Farley's capacity. I have read on various posts that the 2014 can accommodate up to a 4.0" Nate; is the same limit true of the 2015?

Yep. Prolly draw the line of a rear at 4.0". However I have heard of people running buds and Lou's on the front of the stock Farley...

I haven't seen anyone fit them yet, but Trek stocks the Vee H-Billie and Bulldozer which are both 4.25s. Does that mean they fit? who knows

There's at least one forum member running Dillinger 5s tubeless on his Farley.

I decided to get a Dillinger 4 for the rear just to be sure.

What about the 27.5 Hodags, can it fit on these older Farley’s?

No not at all. I think the biggest you will fit is the 4.3” edna in the back.

The 26x3.8” hodag measures 4” and there is a bit more room.

I have a '15 Farley. I run 4.0 Van Helgas in the winter. I can't imagine anything much bigger than that fitting in there.
