Magura Vyron Elect on your fat bike

I have a 2015 fezzari Kings Peak fatty, great bike. but not set-up for internal dropper seatpost cable routing. I am done riding without a dropper. I could attempt but know it will take me 39 hours and drilling a frame warranty voiding hole to DIY it. I live near the Fezzari HQ and have discussed it with them. They have tried it on a couple of these frames and highly recommend not attempting. They are a descent bike shop as well as bike maker. Also the bend around the BB section would be a Lewis and Clark segment. So enters my thoughts about the Vyron. One review looks good: https://www.bikeradar.com/us/mtb/gea...-review-52016/
But I am wondering about cold weather performance. Surly (surely) someone on this forum has tried one on their fatty? Please come out of the closet if you have. Thx

    Bingo.
I picked up a PNW Cascade external for cheap money that actually works in the cold.

Lots of reviews of that post say the slight delay in actuating it is real bad during actual riding, as in it doesn't work fast enough. One of those things that when you start riding aggressively, when you actuate a dropper, you need it to work immediately.

I had an internal. Was a ****ing pain in the ass to remove the lever and then push the housing thru thru the frame to pop the dropper out the collar and then unhook the cable....

Would have been so much easier to cut some tie wraps and remove.
