    Los Angeles snow

I used to ski, then fatbikes happened. 5 years of riding on snow. I've ridden beaches of snow, in remote Maine snowmobile trails, and groomed trails of Wisconsin. I'd say I'm a well rounded snowman when it comes to riding the fatbikes in "adverse" conditions. I recently moved to LA and I am seeking the thrill close to home. Mammoth has trails 5 hours away, but Dawson Saddle has snow on it. If there is snowpack I will come for it. Where are the places to ride closest to LA, on snow.

LOL, I haven't been cross country skiing since I got my 1st fatty. Now that I am retired, I have time for both but currently climate change has limited the snow cover where I live. Back in the day I would cross country ski daily from late November, thru late February, probably 100 days per year. Now, I fatbike daily, but the snow is limited to about 2 weeks max.
