Looking for 29+ wheelset with 190 rr hub

I was ready to get the set from bikes direct but after some head scratching, the rims are only 25mm and I canít see a tire that isnít rock hard staying on too long.
Framed had a set but they are sold out and now replaced by a 197 rear hub. Are they compatible..?
Iím not looking to spend more than $400 for these as I donít know how often they would get used, and used is an option if anyone has anything collecting dust

Many rear fatbike hubs can be converted from 190 QR to 197 TA. There are also 190 TA hubs. Which do you have/need?

Get a Bike Hub Store rear hub for 140 bucks, a Race Face Arc or other 40mm rim for 89-100 dollars and some 49.00 double butted spokes. Either build it or have it built.
Do the rear wheel first and ride the bike front fat while you save up for the front wheel.
You may never build the front wheel. Front fat is way fun.

Look at Framed bikes. they have bikes with the 190 QR hub and they have pre-built skinny wheel sets. Otherwise bikes direct has their 29+ wheels with novatec convertible hubs and tires for $220 shipped.

Framed had a decent cheap set but they are no longer available and the new ones are now 197 hub

What would I need to convert that rear hub to 197 TA?

Or go even cheaper with Bike Hub Store hubs and these Kore Realms rims $44 https://www.modernbike.com/kore-real...im-32h---black

I just converted my 29er with the 27+ Kore Realm rims and they look nice.

Those Kore rims are pretty nice. I was starting to try and search out a good tubeless compatible rim for the OP when I spotted your post. That's as good as it gets price wise.
I'd take BHS hubs over Novatec any day of the week.

Depends. How big a boy are you and how much power do you make when you climb?
I've seen posts on here with people showing plastic parts in some of their hubs and some posts saying it's difficult to get repair parts.
I think I saw one post with a guy who said he was a Clyde said they were working fine for him. So, there's that.
I'm drawn to decent hubs that I can get for reasonable cost with good support. Thus, why I recommend Bike Hub Store.

About 185lb and more a hi rpm spinner than torque monster.. I didnít buy them on purpose, they just came with the bike. Premature wear Iíll notice, I was concerned with catastrophic failure causing a wreck. Iíve learn to take Internet information with a grain of salt.. but Iíd like to hear if anyone had one grenade on them
