    How's your season going?

Here in MA, quite a dud. A few inches once so far, with a clear forecast ahead of us heading into March. The thought of riding clear trails with Bud and Lou isn't getting me excited and already looking forward to spring with Jumbo Jim's return.

Picture reflects total snowfall and only ride this season.

Well, it took until new-years before we really got snow to make the trails rideable. It's been decent since then, but in the last week or so it's been really good, finally.

Season is on pause until we get more snow, of which there is none in the forecast this week. Mostly a mix of bare pavement and ice in the city at the moment. Highways and gravel roads good enough for cross bike riding without studs.

We've had a really good snow season around here (Monument, CO) for fat biking. Enough that I'm wishing for bare dirt at this point so I can return my fat bike to the shed... :-)

no complaints in AK's Interior. first time in several years that we've had some long sustained cold snaps which has kept the trails hard and fast. as for snowfall, it feels like we're at or near average or thereabouts.

MD, just outside of D.C.: 1/2" of snow in early December lasted about 4 hours on the ground. We've received a S-ton of rain though. I gave up hope on a real winter back in mid January.

Central MN reporting in. Ground was covered with snow the week before Thanksgiving. It has stayed cold, just a few scattered afternoons above freezing. One of the best winters for the fat bike here in past decade.

We've gotten 180" this season but only ~2" in the past ~2 weeks. Coupled with clear skies and sun and everything has settled, dirt/grass is appearing on southern exposures, and it feels more like late April than late Feb.

We're supposed to get 30cm over the next few days. Pretty exciting!

Zwift. My current season is Zwift.

Here in StL, tons of precipitation. Very few hard freezes. Even gravel routes are too soft.

Souther Wi has been pretty solid since Mid Jan. Central Wisconsin even fairing better in the thaw cycles. Overall once the snow showed up the temps have been above 0 and good solid riding. Grooming has been amazing in most places. We had early snow on Halloween that got our dander up ruining the solid dirt, but then the ground froze and other than a few interruptions, great for riding. Overall this winter has been good temps, good snow, so we can't complain one bit. It's rare to get a solid 3 months of "prime" conditions so getting 1.5 months of great is a nice consolation.
