    Gran Rapids getting fat.

Could be old news but is new news to me. I had read an article about a year ago, it mentioned that John Muezenmeyer of the original Nuke Proof fame was looking to get back in the bicycle business. When I read the article I was hopeful that he would see the need for light fat hub. Looks like I will get what I wanted. See his new site here. Not a bunch of details but looks good. See bike below. The hubs are slim......

    Cheers,
    Steven

F dat 616. 313 in da house- Eeeside boi.

Actually, that is pretty cool. Michigan/Midwest seems to be a hot bed for fat bikes, so if they build some, I'm sure they will do well. A 616 fatty next to my Quiring would be nice.

With all their carbon knowledge, maybe they can work on a carbon rim. Now that would be something!

These guys were at Iceman this year. Talked with John (think it was him) at their booth at the expo. Had two steel fatties there, good looking bikes. They also had a couple of the hubs and they seemed REALLY light. I believe they said at the time they were still finalizing things for the hubs, but definitely seemed promising.

    Cool guys as well.

The weight of the hubs is crazy! The front and rear hubs come in around the same weight of DT/SWISS 240 with disc hubset. I here they are doing some serious testing now and we will have to wait, damn-it!
