First Snow ride of the Season!

Alberta was treated today with a little pre-season snow action today. I couldn't wait to get home and go for a rip. There looked to be about 6" of fresh PowPow by my place so I grabbed the Bigfoot, air'd down, and hit the trails just before sun down.

It was a short ride as I had more work to do but completely worth it.

    First Snow, post your pics.

Nice work! I too thought about going for a ride in the snow, but that's as far as I got with it.

Saw a teeny bit of snow in Deadhorse and Barrow, AK on Friday. It was on it's way out though and amounted to just a dusting lingering in the shadows.

    Winter will be coming though...

wow. awesome. The closest I got this morning was that for the first time I wore full thin woold gloves, put long pants on and wore a wool top under my houdini windshirt.

I wore t shirt and shorts on my bike ride to work today... nice 21 celcius in Toronto today.
It was nice not having to think about biking in the snow yet!

Damn, I am hoping to ride over a 1300 m pass in NW BC next week (not on a fatbike). This cold snap is not expected to last luckily for me.

It's crazy here today. The power is out in parts of the city and there are trees down everywhere's. I'm hoping someone is our there having fun in the snow.
