Need some help with wheel/tire selection for upcoming bikepacking trip. Trip involves 25 miles of railtrail to extremely rocky/hilly midwest singletrack (Blue Mounds), which is notorious for eating up tires.

I am taking my Pugsley and cannot decide on which configuration is best for this task. In "fat" mode, I can run it with the extremely heavy, but durable colored on-one floaters or some new 120 tpi 3.8 knards that I have never mounted--both would be tubed.. Alternatively, I can run it in Krampug mode (29 +) shod with combo of chronicle/Fat B Nimble 3.0 tires, tubeless.

Rigid fork for either.
