    Fat cruiser

I couldn't wait for trek/fisher to come out with a Fat Cruiser so I made my own.
I have the complete build thread in detail on my site If you want all the ory details.
UNDERGROUNDVELO - New School Fat Cruiser
I started out with my first cruiser a Nirve Kilroy. It took 24x3" tires well but I wanted more. I decided why not cut the bridges and widen the rear to fit a black Floyd.

I stretched it out from 120mm spacing in the rear to 135mm. I locked in the rear dropouts and started on the chain stays. The seat stay had enough clearance to it the tire do I left it alone.

I decided I didn't need the bridges so I cut em off.

I stripped the paint and smoothed out all the rough edges.

Then I decided to weld in a gusset to prevent any problems.

Very cool starter bike. My boys would have got a real kick out of it.
Are you going to stay with the WW2 motif?
