Fat caad 1 or trek farley ex 8?

Got my fatbike for 1,5 year and it's time to make an upgrade! 😎 I know that they are completely different and possibly a little bit controversial but whitch bike would you pull the trigger and why? Happy rides!

Trek = shamelessly profit driven, screw their dealer network even, corporate bullies of the industry, perhaps?

Otherwise, I'd go Cannondale and enjoy the Olaf.
This is a Pugs not some carbon wannabee pretzel wagon!!

I've never been a fan of Trek (or Specialized). But I AM a fan of my Trek Farley 9.6. Dark overlord corporate image notwithstanding.

What's a Farley EX 8? Any way, if the Farley comes with 27.5 wheels, I'd go that route. Well, I'd go Farley, either way. Jackalope rims are fantastic, I hear.

I have a FAT CAAD 1 and the Olaf fork is really great but sometimes I am wishing for rear suspension. Would like to try the EX 8 but would not like to buy at any price.

I think the best deal of the two right now are demo or pre-owned FAT CAAD 1s which can be purchased for up to 30-40% off MSRP + tax. They have been out for 1 year now and there are plenty of them out there.
