    Eagle chainline issue on Farley

    Hey folks, here's the scoop:

Frame: 2020 Farley so 121 BB shell and 197 rear spacing.
    BB: Pressfit DUB 121
    Crank: SRAM FAT5
Spacers: 2mm outer non drive, 6mm outer drive side per SRAM
    Cassette: GX Eagle normal 12speed
    Rear Derailleur: GX Eagle
B Screw: Set with red tool just to avoid that being an issue.

    Issue:
Chainline seems way off. Looks to be dead straight on the smallest cog, so by the time I get up to the two largest I have way to much chain angle. enough where a couple pedal rotations actually pulls the chain off the chainring. Shifts well in all other gears though.

    What am I missing?

er... i thought the farley had the fat4 crank? All my friends bikes do, rigid or full squish... maybe that is your problem?

Rigid. Trek shows FAT 5 on the website and in their tech docs.

What off set do you have on your chainring?? -4mm should be the fat5...

I am pretty sure the Fat4 and 5 and the same cranks but different chainrings... if you order the +6mm you will gain the 10mm needed to correct your chainline.

    Both my new 2020 Farley's (7 and 9.6)
have a pretty extreme angle on the hanger on the Big 50

(SRAM 11-50t NX Eagle with 30t Fat 5 Crank)

When on the next gear down (42?) it almost looks normal.

I wonder if Trek kept the same chain length when they went from 11-42
My 2018 Farley 7 with SRAM 11-42 cassette and 28t Race Face crank never had a problem.

The derailleur arm angle on the new Eagle NX looks much better just one gear down from the 50 (42?)

I haven't had any shifting issues.... yet.
