    CycloPugs.

Yes in the land of fat, instead of asking about the wide, I am asking about the thin.

Does anyone know what the the thinnest tire that can fit on a Marge Lite? Or does anyone know if anyone makes an offset rim that can accommodate a thinner tire?

I need something that can go as small as 32mm as I plan to put some drops on the Pugz and race cross on it.

after some knee recovery a couple months ago i did put some Schwalbe big apples on the Marge lite rims...
60-559 and even on the road they rode like ****
so i would say; build yourself a '29er' wheelset with normal rims and put some 35/32 cx tires on it?

I was thinking about going the 29 route, but can't use a "normal" rim in the back because of the offset. I just emailed Surly to see what the skinniest tire I could use on a set of Rabbit Hole's. I was asking about the Marge Lite's cause I want to get in on these local races that start this Wednesday. Haha.

Big apple 2.35 works great on the 65mm rim. Haven't tried any narrower. Those work just fine on a rolling darryl too.

Bontrager OSB rims can be dished to work on a pugsley; I've got a set that I've used on my 135mm 9:Zero:7.

I've actually got a set of the NOS Bontrager OSB rims hanging in the garage that never turned into the skinny pug project I was hoping for. Let me know if you want them.
C'mon lets go for a whirl.

Just run your most worn smooth fat tires. If your racing a Pug, I'm guessing you won't be dicing with the cat 1's. If you want to run drops, make sure they are WIDE. I ran some Nitto Dirt Drops on mine when I built it and tight uphill corners took a lot of effort to get around.
