    Coolest fatty this year!

I had the 24" 100mm rims in my garage taking up space and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. They were a takeoff of my daughter's 24" fatty (Mongoose Logan), since she's a little thing, 100mm rims were silly so I swapped them out to some 47mm trials rims.

Anyway, get back from vacation and find a note from a guy who wants to lace them up to his chair! Whaa??!

He needed 36h 24" rims for his project and he was leaving on vacation soon and was in a pinch. I agreed to ship them without funds on the condition that he send me pictures when he's done, he came through with the pictures and the funds, and what's he's done is RAD!

Gotta say that's so cool I want to take it for a spin!

Hopefully when he gets back from his vacation he can fill us in on the build and details of how it worked for him on the beach.

Now I want to get back to the and ride! (Oh yeah and buy my own fatty!)

Hi everyone. I'm the guy in the pic. Searching for mongoose Logan brought me here (though I used to frequent the forum in my biking days). Thanks again to worldskipper for sending the rims asap (yes, before I even paid). It also motivated me to get them done in time. I literally worked on them until midnight before my 5am departure the next morning.
I tried to take some pics of the build. I have never touched a spoke wrench before, much less build a wheel. But I feel good about getting it done and so far they held up.

The captions on the pics got cut off, but here is what I have: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
