    Converting Hubs Question

I have not yet had a fat bike with thru axles. My current 907 has 190mm QR and 135 QR.
I just got a new frame and fork with 197, 150. I just learned that my front 907 hub is not convertible so I have to lace a wheel.
Is the 190 Hope Fatsno just a cap change or are there different shells for 190 and 197?

Silly me. I thought this was going to be easy.

I went from 170mm QR to 177mm thru axle on my Hopes with just a cap change. I'm sure the 190-197s are the same and use the same caps.

It would seem so. If you look at Hope's website, it says 170/177 and 190 and 197.
Made me think it might be different. You're probably right though. Thanks for the reply.

Just end caps. QBP or Hope have 'em in stock.

Doesn't it make a difference if it is the new or old style hubs or is that just for the front??

Yeah. The older fronts cannot be converted to a thru axle.
