    Chain stay protector

    Looking at a Lizard Skin protector for my Pug.........anybody run one, and if so, what size.....thanks

    thats about the 5th time i have been told the same........LOL........i think i will, i do already on my 29er, i just thought i would treat this lovely black machine to something a bit "fancier".....

    Lizard skin is okay and easily washable or, have you tried handlebar tape like they use on drop bars?

    FWIW, I have a jumbo 29'er lizard skin protector on my Mukluk, but that's also wrapping around the rear derailleur cable that the Pugsley doesn't have to deal with. .

    Have you looked at the bionicon c.guide? I run it on both of my bikes and works great.

    I use "Mister Tuffy's" in most of my bikes with great success.

    My favorite is an old tubular tire. You do have to find the right tire for the tubing size of the bike.
    My second choice is handlebar tape as sylus mentioned, it works really well.

    I JUST won a Jumbo Medium Lizardskins last week. Fits great on the pugs

    I have used one of these stick on lizardskin on 3 bikes now. Looks a lot cleaner than tubes or neoprene.

    I find if you use the fuzzy side of a velcro strip stuck on the top of the chain stay.
