Brake Question on 16 Farley 7

I recently did a good number of upgrades on the Farley. Moved to Eagle GX; new Cane Creek headset; Duroc Wheels'DT 350 hubs with Hodag's for 3 season riding; and added a set of Hope brakes.

All went well but I was unable to install the Hope 180 rotors. The adapters I had were not correct. What adapters do I need to get enough height for 180 rotors?

Sorry if the question seems like wtf you don't have a clue. I know you need adapters and I tried a 185 adapter and it won't work. Maybe this will help describe the issue.

Possibly you were using a rear brake adapter.

Can a 180 fit the rear with the slider?

I think you just need 20mm post to post spacers and longer bolts...

I am considering going to 180mm front and rear. Some say 180mm rear rotor wonít fit with the wheel slid forward.

Iím looking at x2 front and rear, x2 rear and e4 front, or e4 front and rear. What did you end up doing?

Frankly I ended up moving back to the 26" wheel set for my kid to ride it. I picked up cheap 160 rotors and it's working fine for now. I had a set of 55mm Durock rims and 3.8 tires for summer on 27.5 when I was going to go bigger rotors. I'll revisit in spring.
