Brake (disc and caliper) cover for road transport

Hey, I don't have the option of transporting my fat bike inside my vehicle on highways in Atlantic Canada where salt, oils, etc. are a problem for components including brakes. Hitch mount is more of an issue than roof mount - both are problematic. Does anyone know if there are custom covers made to cover calipers and discs? I am currently using plastic bags with some success. I was thinking of a zip on cover or something similar. Thanks!

Search this sub-forum for wheel covers. There is a company that makes full wheel bags/covers for just this purpose.

I used shower caps for both the disc and the cassette. Just punch a hole in the center and put them on. For the caliper I just used duct tape to cover it, taped to the covered rotor. Incidentally I do this when traveling from Maine to PEI with the fattys on the hitch rack.
