    Bash gaurd ?
I hit a good size rock today on the Moonlander and trashed the 36t outer ring and bash gaurd. I never use the 36t only need the 22t and have been looking for a bash gaurd for it. (no luck) Nothing seems to fit.
Any ideas other than just making one?

What crank set do you run?
Probably have to install a bash in place of the middle ring if you can, probably a 32 T?

Crankset & BB Surly Mr. Whirly Offset Double, 22/36t

No middle ring just had the 22/36t to begin with. I think I could just do away with the front derailleur.

I have brought a couple from bbgbashquard.com. There are a lot of options and they are cheap.

    Thanks for the link.
The bolt pattern is not the same on this Surly 22t.
It looks like I need an adapter or different sprocket setup all together for a bash gaurd.

With the extra clearance I may be able to skip the gaurd.

If you want the 22T inner, near as I can tell, you're stuck. If you can run with a 30T or 32T you can swap out the spider and run a tradition SS style conversion.

I'm running a 30T with an old e13 bash guard I had laying around, I replaced the MWOD chainring set with the 5x94mm spider. I had to cut down the e13's diameter and grind it a bit to make everything right:

Blackspire C4 ring god. Just cut off the thin piece and use 3mm spacers to get it away from the chainring.

Thanks Pursuiter, I think I will give the 30T a try this should keep me in the middle cogs in the rear. I like the setup you have.
