A gun rack? I don't even own A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack...
    I'm covered in beer.

ran them since April in the NE - Origin 8Devastators front

and rear with Kevlar casing. Very durable but heavy tire at 2100 grams spec weight. Always wanted to put them on scale just to get an exact weight. Lower tread height than say a Nate (other tiires that a friend and I run on 2012 907s) but incredible grip on wet rocks, roots etc. They do have a a peculiar self steering trait that is exacerbated at lower pressures (say less than 8 lbs in my case but my friend runs at six pounds even) but you adjust to it after a few rides. Got mine for $45 from bikeman but I think they out of stock right now. They are supposed to come out with a low weight version at something like 1300 grams but I have not seen them yet. And yes, I have heard that these are made by Vee rubber as well.
