    Any predictible sales on Surly tires?

    I asked this in the "great deals" thread, but no love in a week, so I'm asking here.

    Do any online retailers have a regular tire sale or anything where you can be pretty sure you can get Surly tires a little cheaper than normal? Or is a Bud or a Lou always going to be $130 from everywhere?

    (unless you don't have studded tires)
    (no excuse for that either)

    If you shop at Universal Cycles they have a couple permanent coupon codes you can use:

    VIP10 = 10% off $100 or more

    VIP15 = 15% off $300 or more

    You should get free shipping as well. That's where I got my Fat B Nimbles and they shipped same day. Not an earth shattering deal but it's something.

    It was a new year thing... so probably not? Haven't seen one since. Had never really cared to look much until i wanted $130 tires....

    I would just watch Facebook Fat bike trader if you have time, can usually score a like new set for around $200.

    My LBS always sells them to me for 10% off. Do you have an LBS you go to often?

    Hopefully QBP will rethink their tire prices now that tires like panaracer are sub $70 for folding bead, light, and well made.

    They already lowered them from 170 to 130 and if you shop smart you can get them for 100. Totally worth it and bud/Lou are still the king of traction and control. I have a problem with $60 25mm wide road tires... there's the real crime. Not 4.8" of rubber.
